Cough Syrup for wet cough

Contains organically grown Elecampane root (Inula helenium), Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis), Thyme (Thymus vulgaris), Horehound (Marrubium vulgare), Lemon (Citrus x limon) and organic vegetable glycerine. 

Take this cough syrup as directed for a "rattly" cough.  

Store in the refrigerator once opened and use within six months.

 Key plants:

🌿Elecampane - a warming medicinal root that is designed to expectorate excess mucus, and strengthen the lungs.  It has been helpful in the treatment of bronchitis, asthma and emphysema.  It also contains prebiotics so is beneficial for the gut. 

🌿Hyssop - an underrated pungent plant that works alongside Elecampane very nicely to assist in the expectoration of mucus.  It has an added bonus of being relaxing to the nervous system but can also settle an irritating cough. 

🌿Thyme - a warming, pungent expectorant with strong antimicrobial properties to help clear any infection.  It has been used for bronchitis, whooping cough and asthma.  

🌿Horehound - a very bitter, pungent plant that is also an expectorant and helps to calm an ongoing cough.  It's bitter properties are also useful for stimulating bile and helping the digestive.  Like Thyme, a little is all that is needed for a very effective outcome with this plant.
